Country Rugby Ambassadors

In an effort to increase the promotion & development of NSW Country Rugby an Ambassador Program was established in 2009 by the NSWCRU Board. NSWCRU Zones were requested to nominate high profile past representative Country, State & National players & administrators for participation in the program. To date 4 Ambassadors have been appointed in:

• Steve Merrick - Newcastle Hunter Zone (Singleton)
  
• James Grant - Central West (Canownindra) 
  
• David Carter - Central North (Quirindi)
  
• Kelly Sager - Newcastle Hunter (Newcastle)
